To Mike, heading up the Marketing Analytics team means ensuring that insights are at the center of our marketing decisions, delivering on the “Know more.” portion of Alliance Data’s Know more. Sell more. brand promise.
Mike and his teams work closely with Client Partnerships, the other Marketing pillars, Finance, and Operations on a multitude of projects such as helping to identify areas of opportunity for credit applications and sales growth, developing custom statistical models to fit our partners’ needs, and evaluating marketing programs. They also work on sales and consumer reporting as well as credit sales and application forecasting, provide budgeting support and general ad hoc and pro forma analytical needs.
Mike has been with Alliance Data for over 20 years. He began his career as part of Limited Credit Services in various roles within Collections, Credit Risk Management, and Client Sales before becoming Director of Business Insights, then Director of Pricing and Profitability Analysis, then Senior Director of Growth Analytics before assuming his current role in mid-2013. Mike is a citizen of Germany, though a full-time resident of the United States.
