He is an accomplished expert in the areas of storytelling, storytelling events, strategic storytelling, stakeholder storytelling, message crafting and distribution, audience definition, branding and brand story development, reputation management, crisis management and strategically utilizing emerging channels to win.

David is widely considered the pioneer of using social media in politics and advocacy. He was trained classically in the art of rhetoric in several positions on Capitol Hill, including speechwriter for the late U.S. Senator George V. Voinovich of Ohio and communications director for Congressman Jack Kingston of Georgia, then vice-chair of the House Republican Conference.

A decade ago, David founded his first communication company, David All Group, a global interactive agency with offices in Washington, D.C., Columbus, San Francisco, and Chicago. It partnered with organizations and brands like PhRMA, CEA, NFIB, Intel, Google, Lenovo, and global cultural movement, Burning Man, to build and protect brands online. ($10m total revenue)

Ten years to the month of starting his first communication agency, David launched OneNineNinety: The Audience is the Message. As he did with mediums of social media 10 years earlier, he has charted a new communication philosophy, Audience First Communication, applying design thinking and social science tools and methodology to milestone communication planning.
